John Hunter went into Day 2 sitting just one place outside what would be the cut line which would distinguish those who would move on to fish the final day. He needed another solid day, which would require patience with the slow bites that have become the usual on Lake Seminole.
Hunter delivered. His "big bass" laid the foundation of his 14lb-04oz day on only 3 fish caught. The monster bass weighed in at just shy of 8 pounds. Hunter finished the day in 9th place, good enough to qualify to fish on Day 3.
"Sitting in 9th going into tomorrow. Going to have to keep getting the right bites to give it a run. Anything can happen on the final day, that's for sure. I just want to thank everyone for all the support I've gotten."
John's family have made the trip down to Bainbridge, GA to witness the final day of fishing. Hopefully they bring Hunter some luck.
Check back in tomorrow for the results after the 3:30 PM ET weigh-in at the Walmart store in Bainbridge.
